This wall art, titled Niraakaar (formless), is a heartfelt creation by Manishaben, a self-taught woman artisan from a quiet village near Dholka, Gujarat.
With roots deeply grounded in rural life, Manishaben always found joy in observing and learning from fellow artisans around her. She never had formal training but carried a natural curiosity for colors, stitches, and styles.
After attending a color theory session at Upraant, she began to experiment with earthy tones and free-flowing embroidery. Niraakaar is a reflection of her free spirit — a piece made not from a pattern, but from instinct, emotion, and exploration.
Each thread carries her story — of learning, expressing, and finding beauty in her own way.
